This eco park, located on the Cenotes Route in Puerto Morelos, is owned by a family from the Yucatan Peninsula, who arrived in these lands at the time of chewing gum production and, in love with nature, decided to stay here. live.
The name given to this park is due to the presence of countless sapote trees, which gave rise to the chicle camps in the area, and its cultivation in the tropical jungles of southeastern Mexico is a living tradition of the Mayan culture.
The park offers 3 beautiful cenotes, each with its special type of beauty and a zip line system to travel through the jungle above the treetops.
Cenote Zapote is unique in its kind. This cenote gets its name from the sapote trees that grow near the striking entrance into the jungle. Seen from above, it could seem like one of the incredibly beautiful cenotes that populate the Yucatan Peninsula, surrounded by an impressive jungle and with the sound of birds and insects coming from all sides. But when you dive under the blue and transparent water, diving to the depth of the cavern, you will find the extraterrestrial-looking formations that give the cenote its other name

The water is very clear, ideal for snorkeling and diving. It has imposing stalactites, as well as stalagmites of singular beauty. In this magical place, Mayan traditions are preserved, which is why before starting the jump into one of the cenotes, a Mayan ritual is performed, asking nature for permission to be able to immerse yourself in them.
