Aquarium Trek is a completely safe and interactive experience that allows you to walk underwater in a specially designed section of our main tank. It's a fun family activity that's perfect for adults and children ages 8 and up. Don't know how to swim? No problem! This activity requires no swimming ability. It's as simple as walking on land, but with the unique feeling of "walking on the moon."
The magic of this adventure comes from the Sea Trek® equipment—a specially designed helmet that lets you breathe comfortably and naturally through your nose as you enjoy the experience. Thanks to this innovative technology, your hair stays completely dry, and you can even wear your prescription glasses without any problem. This interactive walk takes you along a designated path where you'll get to feed and gently touch the marine species.
Throughout your entire walk, you will be guided by certified divers who are with you every step of the way. In a small group with up to 7 other people, you'll get the chance to interact up close with more than 10 fascinating marine species, such as:
- Tarpon or shad
- Orange tail trigger fish
- Rosin pitch (Rubia)
- Pepper surgeon fish
- Moorish idol (Yes, from the movie “Finding Nemo”)
- African surgeon fish
- Ring tail surgeon
- Cownose ray

Aquarium Trek
Aquarium Trek is a fun activity for adults and children 11 years and older*. Walk underwater at a depth of six meters (19.6 feet). If you can't swim, don't worry, it's a moonwalk experience—your hair won't get wet, and you can even wear glasses or contact lenses. Relax and enjoy! The Sea Trek® equipment allows you to walk and breathe naturally. In fact, it's much easier than snorkeling because you don't use a mouthpiece. One of the top activities in Cancun!
